PAPER BAG INITIATIVE

On August 2nd, 2025, the spirit of service and social responsibility was once again demonstrated by the National Service Scheme (NSS) students of St. Charles Women’s PU College, when a group of 100 dedicated volunteers came forward to support a neighboring school. Recognizing the need for better facilities and basic arrangements for the smooth functioning of the institution, the volunteers planned and executed an initiative that reflected both their compassion and commitment to the community.

The NSS team worked together with enthusiasm, ensuring that the school was provided with essential arrangements such as seating, learning materials, and basic infrastructural support. Their efforts created a more conducive environment for the students of the neighboring school, many of whom come from humble backgrounds. The initiative was not only about providing material support, but also about offering encouragement and solidarity to the children and staff.This noble act highlights the vision of the NSS — “Not Me, But You” — a motto that emphasizes selfless service and collective growth.
