As part of the Doctors' Day celebration, a Health Awareness Talk was organized on 7th July 2026 in the college auditorium to educate students on adolescent girls' health and well-being. The session was delivered by Dr. Geetika, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist from Bangalore Baptist Express Healthcare Clinic, Lingarajapuram, on the topic "Understanding Adolescent Girls' Health: Menstrual Hygiene, PCOS & Reproductive Well-being." During her informative session, Dr. Geetika emphasized the importance of menstrual hygiene, early identification of PCOS symptoms, reproductive wellness, and the adoption of healthy lifestyle practices. She encouraged students to break myths surrounding women's health, seek timely medical guidance, and make informed decisions for their physical and emotional well-being. The interactive session provided students with an opportunity to clarify their doubts in a safe and supportive environment, making the programme both engaging and impactful. At the conclusion of the programme, Principal Sr. Elizabeth Leo felicitated Dr. Geetika with a shawl and a token of appreciation in recognition of her dedicated service to society and her invaluable contribution to women's healthcare on the occasion of Doctors' Day. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to Dr. Geetika for her inspiring session and valuable guidance.
