Theme: “Wings to Fly, Roots to Grow
The Fresher’s Day celebration for the academic year 2026–2027 was held on 23 May 2026 with the inspiring theme, “Wings to Fly, Roots to Grow.” The programme warmly welcomed the new batch of Charlesian students and marked the beginning of their academic journey.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mary Ann, along with distinguished dignitaries including Sr. Lucy, Sr. Juliana, and the Principal, Sr. Elizebeth Leo.
The programme featured a Welcome Dance, Lighting of the Lamp, and a special felicitation ceremony honoring the top SSLC scorers for their outstanding academic achievements. A three-round competition was conducted to select the Charlesian Queen for 2026–2027.The outgoing Queen, Kulsum Khizeri Khan, ceremoniously crowned her successor, Madeeha Moin. Zainab Tauqeer was declared the First Runner-Up, while Madeeha secured the position of Second Runner-Up.
As a token of welcome, the first-year students were presented with Charlesian badges and Snickers chocolates, making the occasion more memorable and special for the freshers.
The celebration was further enriched by the presence of alumni Keerthana and Umme Hanni, who shared their experiences and encouraged the freshers with valuable guidance. The event concluded on a joyful and memorable note.
