NSS INAUGURATION

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of St. Charles Women’s PU College organized its Grand Inauguration Ceremony to inspire students to actively participate in social service and community development. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 1,000 students.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Venkatesh Gowda K.M., Chief Guest, a distinguished educationist and NSS leader. He has served in various educational capacities, including Principal of Santosh Junior College, Bangarpet, and as NSS Programme Officer at Government PU College for Girls, Basavanagudi. His achievements include the Best NSS Programme Officer State Award (2014), Best Lecturer State Award (2022), the National Teacher’s Award (2022), and the Kempegowda Award.

The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Blessina Daniel, brought her 35 years of experience as an educationist, mentor, and trainer. She is Founder of Inspiring Innovations and Director of the Ally Joe Foundation, contributing significantly to academic and social initiatives both nationally and internationally.

The Special Invitee, Mr. Lion Shaji Kunnath, a community leader and social contributor, also graced the event. His roles include President of Lions Club Anubandha, General Secretary of HBR Layout Residents Welfare Association, Senior Traffic Warden with Bangalore City Police, and Vice President of K.G. Halli Block Congress Committee.
