PLASTIC-FREE CAMPUS ASSEMBLY : “Say No to Plastic, Say Yes to a Greener Future”

A special assembly on “Plastic-Free Campus” was conducted by the students of I COM D on 16th September 2026, focusing on environmental awareness and the importance of reducing plastic usage.

The assembly began with a morning prayer, seeking God's blessings and guidance for a meaningful and responsible day. This was followed by a Bible verse, which offered a message of wisdom and responsibility towards God's creation. The students then presented the Thought for the Day, encouraging everyone to make conscious choices that contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment. The highlight of the assembly was a beautiful and creative fashion show, where students showcased innovative ideas and outfits connected to environmental awareness. The presentation highlighted the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle in an engaging manner. A meaningful song was also presented by the students, adding joy and enthusiasm to the programme while reinforcing the message of caring for our planet. The assembly concluded with an inspiring call to reduce single-use plastics, adopt eco-friendly alternatives and work together towards a cleaner, greener and sustainable campus.
