Strands of Hope: A Beautiful Act of Kindness by Our Students

In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity, the students of St. Charles Women’s PU College came together for the noble cause of hair donation through the Strands of Hope campaign, organized in collaboration with Hair Donation Organization India® on 2nd July 2025.

With the motto “Donate Your Hair. Ignite Confidence,” the event aimed to bring smiles and renewed confidence to cancer survivors by donating hair to make wigs. Our young changemakers showed remarkable courage and empathy, walking in with smiles and walking out with hearts fuller than ever.

The criteria were simple—clean, dry hair of at least 14 inches, braided into two ponytails. Students from various streams participated enthusiastically, turning a personal gesture into a collective celebration of hope and humanity. Each participant received a Certificate of Appreciation, but the true reward was the joy of giving.

This initiative not only highlighted the spirit of generosity among our students but also inspired others to step forward and be a part of something meaningful. Their selfless act stands as a reminder that even a small strand of kindness can create waves of hope.
