NSS Activity – Visit to Anbillum

Science students visited the Dr. Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech & Hearing on 26th March 2026 as part of an educational exposure activity. The session was guided by Ms. Prema Kumari, Lecturer and Camp Coordinator.

She explained the various aspects of speech and hearing impairments and the importance of early diagnosis and therapy. Students were introduced to the different rehabilitation and training methods used at the institute. They also observed how specialized support helps individuals with communication difficulties.

The visit provided valuable practical knowledge related to health and communication sciences. It helped students develop awareness and empathy towards individuals with special needs. Overall, the visit was informative and enriching for the science students.
