XXII ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET 2026

The XXII Annual Athletic Meet 2026 was celebrated on 17th October 2026 with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit. Centred on the theme “Sporting Excellence for a Greener Tomorrow,” the event promoted physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and environmental awareness.

The programme commenced with the sponsors’ announcement, introduction of dignitaries, invocation dance, welcome address and the ceremonial arrival of the Olympic Torch. The meet was graced by Mr. Prabhuraj S. K., International Athlete and Fitness Consultant, as the Chief Guest, and Sr. Reetha Varghese, Provincial Superior, Sisters of St. Charles, Western Province, as the Guest of Honour. As a gesture of appreciation and environmental responsibility, saplings were presented to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, while bags were gifted to the Sisters of St. Charles.

The event featured the March Past, Green and Red House Displays, 50 Metres Running Race, relay races, tug of war, flash mob, beatboxing, pyramid display and Teachers’ Games. Mr. Anthony Raj, Physical Education Teacher of St. Charles High School, was felicitated with a memento and shawl in recognition of his valuable service and contribution. The prize distribution ceremony recognised the achievements of the participants and encouraged healthy competition.

The programme concluded with the closing ceremony, vote of thanks, ceremonial lowering and handing over of the flag, followed by the National Anthem.

The Annual Athletic Meet was a memorable celebration of talent, unity and determination, inspiring students to strive for excellence in sports while contributing towards a healthier and greener future. 🌿🏆
